This stark mural was my first large-scale equation based on the Black-Scholes equation used to price options.  The piece was commissioned by the City of Toronto, but when Rob Ford was elected Mayor, he felt it had a dangerous anti-government message, and he ordered the mural erased.  What followed was a storm of media that led to the community supporting the repainting of a new Suitman mural as well as official invitations to exhibitions across the world, including the official Occupy Wall Street exhibition in the JP Morgan building on Wall Street in NYC.
